?Watermelon is a summer favorite! It not only is delicious but is super hydrating and packed with nutrients!

In this video, I am sharing my method of choosing the PERFECT watermelon every time (well, at least 95% of the time!).

Also, it is always better to buy a WHOLE watermelon rather than pre-cut pieces.

Melons are highly susceptible to bacteria so if the watermelon was not washed or the knife was contaminated when it was cut, you would be at risk of illness.

In addition, once it is cut, it needs to be refrigerated. The longer the cut pieces sit at room temperature the greater the chance of problems!

Extra watermelon can be blended into a liquid and frozen in ice cube trays. Add to your smoothies, water, or just blend up for a refreshing, healthy slushie!

? What is your favorite way to enjoy watermelon??
