Cooking Class: Apple and Cranberry Skillet Crisp

Dessert, Recipes

Apples and cranberries are a classic dessert combination.

In this recipe, they are combined and topped with a crunchy nut-based topping for a delicious, nutrient packed delight!  Using a cast-iron skillet, first on the stove to soften the fruit, then in the oven to toast the topping makes this an easy, one-dish dessert!  PLUS the cast-iron helps keep everything warm until you are ready to serve!  It is great on its own, but add a scoop of your favorite whipped topping or ice cream for an extra special treat!
