Cooking Class: Sauteed Cauliflower with Apples and Pecans

Recipes, Sides

You know cauliflower is good for you, but let's be honest, it doesn't have much flavor and can be pretty boring not to mention it can stink up the house!

First, the mild flavor can work in your favor.  Just make sure you pair it up with plenty of other flavorful (and healthful!) ingredients.  As for the odor, it is caused when the cells break down and unlock sulfurous compounds into the air.  As it takes time for this to happen, it can be avoided by using a quicker method of cooking.  Avoid boiling or over-steaming!

This simple recipe is the answer to ALL these issues!!  Quickly sautéing the cauliflower means no odor, and mixing in flavorful pecans, apples, and herbs dials up the deliciousness factor!!

This recipe was featured in the November 2021 monthly member cook-along, but in case you missed it, here is the recipe and video stepping you through the process!  Enjoy!
