Most premade crackers are highly processed and should be avoided or at least limited when you switch to a healthy, whole-food way of eating. However, this doesn't mean you need to give them up completely! Making your own crackers is actually simple! Like anything, the first few times will take longer and feel difficult, but after that, you will be amazed at how quickly you can whip these up! In addition, you can switch out ingredients and flavors to fit your taste and needs.
Just remember, even though they are healthier and more nutritious, you still need to limit your intake. Everything in Moderation!! Enjoy!

Can I replace the chickpea? I can not use anything in the pea family.
Donna – any other flour should work. You may need to adjust the water amount so you get the right consistency of the dough. Let me know what you try and how it turns out!
