Cooking Class: Herbed Butter

Condiments, Recipes

A terrific way to use your hearty fresh herbs before the frost comes is to make an herb butter that can be used on vegetables, potatoes, or even cornbread!

A combination of thyme, sage, and parsley makes a delicious addition to your Thanksgiving table!  You can even rub it under the skin of your holiday bird for a delicious, juicy result!

The butter can be frozen, tightly wrapped, for up to several months.  So, make a few batches now and enjoy them this winter!!

P. S. You can also mix herbs in a soft cheese like goat or cream for a simple, yet elegant, appetizer!  Spread on crostini and top with a sliver of sundried tomato for a festive addition to your holiday meal!
