Looking for a simple, delicious appetizer that is actually good for you?  Try these Spiced apple Swedish Meatballs!

The key to ALL recipes is the quality of the ingredients, so be sure to search out the best you can find.  Look for Italian sausage without nitrites or added sugars.  Use an all natural apple butter and clean beef broth.   Replace regular breadcrumbs for ground oats for a gluten-free, more nutrient-dense outcome.  

This recipe is also perfect for entertaining as you can make the meatballs weeks ahead and freeze then just reheat and toss in the apple butter-broth sauce.
